# Odoo

Once installed, access your Odoo instance using the following URL:

Replace `$INSTANCE_IP` with your server's IP address.

### Initial Setup

When accessing the URL for the first time, Odoo will display the Database Manager.

Select **"Create Database"** and provide the following information:

* **Database Name:** Choose a name for your Odoo database.
* **Email:** Enter the email address for the Odoo administrator account.
* **Password:** Set a password for the Odoo administrator account.
* **Country:** Select the appropriate country.
* **Language:** Select the desired language.
* **Demo Data:** Optionally enable Demo Data if sample data is required.

Click **"Create Database"** to continue.

Odoo will automatically create and initialize the database and create the administrator account.

The Odoo application database must be created through the Odoo Database Manager during the initial setup. The installer prepares the PostgreSQL server and Odoo environment but does not create the Odoo application database.

### Odoo Dashboard

After the database creation process is completed, Odoo will automatically log you into the newly created instance.

From the Odoo dashboard, you can install applications and manage users, products, sales, purchases, inventory, accounting, projects, and other Odoo settings.
